Summer Solstice on the River Bend Trail

Join the Friends of the River Bend Trail for a fun, family-filled night on the River Bend Trail to celebrate the official start of summer. Event will occur rain or shine. The public is invited to participate in this event and there is no charge to participate. Donations will be accepted. There will be snacks, music provided by Paul and Susanna Gilk, and plenty of activities to choose from, including chalk drawings, plant identification, scavenger hunt, creating a community sun dial, Family Yoga by Gigi, and MORE! A craft table will be provided by The Merrill Enrichment Center, and TB Scott Library will be hosting a live mic where library staff and guests will recite summer related poetry. A table will be set up with writing supplies for participants to write their own poetry!
This event is put on by the Friends of the River Bend Trail with the help of community sponsors and partnerships. Including: Merrill Enrichment Center, Lincoln County Health Department, Polka Dotted Pie, T.B. Scott Library, Golden Harvest Market, Be Well Yoga, Helene's Apple Orchard, Gress Chiropractic, Thrivent (Kelly O'Day), Auntie Rays Coffee House, and Main Street Apothecary.
