Recycled Robot Craft Project

DATE: 1ST CLASS – TUESDAY, JUNE 27 2ND CLASS – WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 16 TIME: AGES 3 – 5 (MUST HAVE PARENT/GUARDIAN AT CLASS) AGES 6 through 12 COST: $6.00 PER CLASS WHERE: SMITH CENTER MUST PRE-REGISTER – LIMIT 12 EACH CLASS The Merrill Park and Recreation Department will be offering this unique program to kids ages 3 – 12. Younger kids must have a parent/guardian at the class with them to help build and create their robots. We will be building robots of all different shapes, sizes and all different materials. We will be using toilet paper rolls, boxes – small ones and bigger ones, paper towel tubes, buttons, plastic cups, spice containers, and etc. We will be collecting recyclable materials, but if there is something you want your robot to have feel free to bring in some items. We will provide glue and tape to put your robots together. Bring your imagination and be ready to build!
