FILL THE GAZEBO

Fill the Gazebo is a huge community-wide food drive, huge enough for donations to fill the gazebo at Normal Park in just 3 hours. It is an outgrowth of the former CROP WALK and is sponsored by the Merrill Ministerium. All donation stay local. This is your invitation to participate in The Big Fill Number Seven- visible way to show how much Merrill community members take care of each other. 
In 2018 , 33 organizations and 88 individuals took part in the Fill the Gazebo Food Drive. Over 8,500 pounds of goods were collected, along with over $4,500 in monetary contributions-truly an overwhelming response! We didn't guite fill the gazebo, but we have HIGH Hopes for 2019

How Can You Participate?
A group collection may be made or individuals may drop off their donations that day. Monetary donations are welcome, checks payable to Merrill Food Pantry. From there, donation are divided equally between Merrill's three food pantries. A gift for the Food for Kids Program is best given in the form of a gift card to a grocery store , Wal-Mart, or Sam's Club. Please specify that it is for Food for Kids.
